Broadly, LLMRT's area of operation covers Snowdon and adjacent areas.  

Nominal boundaries of LLMRT's operational region are illustrated on the map. It must be emphasised however that these boundaries are not rigid, and that incidents near the boundary between adjacent Team's areas may involve either or, often, both teams.

Areas to the S and W of LLMRT's region are covered by Aberglaslyn Mountain Rescue Team; to the SE by South Snowdonia Search & Rescue Team, while the Ogwen Valley Mountain Rescue Organisation covers areas to the NE.
